Sales Developer/Administrator – Reporting & Analytics

OVERVIEW

The Salesforce Developer will play a key role in the achievement of Vertel’s mission of being the provider of choice of private networks for enterprise and government organisations that value service excellence, innovation and partnering.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Strong expertise ?to develop applications on Force.com/Salesforce Platform
  • Strong Visualforce, Lightening, Apex Triggers, and APEX code knowledge 
  • Excellent knowledge of salesforce.com features & limitation (process-builders, Einstein, Big Objects, Workflows, validation rules, translation workbench) 
  • Solid experience in Object oriented programming concepts (JAVA, JS, NODEJS)
  • Hands on experience in building dashboards, and reports on Salesforce platform
  • Hands on experience with Reporting & Analysis in Salesforce
  • Hands on experience on APEX Data Loader 
  • Have done real-time integration through SOAP, REST & BULK APIs
  • Conducting a wide range of highly complex quality control tests and analyses to ensure that software meets or exceeds specified standards and end-user requirements 
  • Platform Developer -1 Certification or related desired.
  • Develops system requirements and business processes; codes, tests, debugs and implements software solutions. Develops recommendations on process improvements 
  • Determining and makes recommendations on software design requirements & best practices.
  • Drafting test plans and scripts to ensure alignment with standards and Technology strategy.

 

EXPERIENCE

Mandatory

  • A minimum of 3 years in an organization delivering technical solutions on Salesforce, preferred to have created dashboards and business reports on Salesforce.
  • Demonstrated technical proficiency in Salesforce administration and development.
  • Excellent verbal and written skills in the English language.
  • Strong teamwork and problem-solving skills
  • Strong customer focus. Ability to respond to customer needs and provide technical solutions within agreed SLAs

 

Preferred

  • Experience in AGILE -Sprint and should have good communication skills. 
  • Excellent knowledge of Salesforce APIs and hands-on experience on integration with back-end systems (Oracle EBS, SAP, etc). 
  • ?Familiar with latest tools- GIT,Visual Code, Jenkins, Bit bucket,Bamboo?
  • Exceptional communication skills
  • Certification in Salesforce highly desirable

 

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Formal tertiary qualification in ICT or engineering discipline is required. A minimum of Bachelor or higher degree in one of these fields.
  • Salesforce Certification preferred.
